On Feb. 28, Circles of Rhythm is coming to town to offer a Community Drum Circle at the Jasper Activity Centre. This FREE community event coincides with Pink Shirt Day, a day devoted to raising awareness of bullying in schools, workplaces, at home and online.

Jasper Activity Centre
Whether you've played a drum or not, you are invited to attend. Inclusiveness is a core principle of community drum circles – people of all backgrounds, mobility, ages and skill levels can participate.
Circles of Rhythm focuses exclusively on community drum circles with the goal of creating a sense of belonging, bringing about social and cultural change and promoting mental and physical health.
People who have attended Circle of Rhythm's drum circles have said they left the experience feeling: grounded, connected, energized, joyful, inspired, relaxed and "empowered to be the change." Drums are provided, however, people are encouraged to bring their own if they have them.
