Parks & Sports Fields

Would you rather be outside? Try out the skate park or play a game of tennis. Centennial Park is perfect for baseball games, soccer and rugby. Take your dog to the off-leash park or for a longer hike on Jasper’s Discovery trail – an 8-kilometre trail that hugs the perimeter of town.

Commemoration Park and Centennial Park can be booked for group activities by contacting the Culture and Recreation Department at or 780-852-6514.

Please note: The parks are open, however, due to Alberta Health Services guidelines related to the COVID-19 pandemic, park rentals are only available for small group bookings.

Commemoration Park

Located right beside the Jasper Activity Centre, Commemoration Park is our newest green space. The park has a playing field which can support soccer or other field sports. Nets are not provided.

There is also a newly built main stage which is available for rent for concerts, weddings, festivals and other events.
