COVID-19 Resources for Residents
Services is just a phone call away
If you need support accessing federal, provincial or local services, Community Outreach Services is here to help.
Give us a call at 780-852-2100.
We will continue to provide non-judgmental support services and referrals; however, our Outreach Workers will do this remotely, limiting face-to-face contact between staff and clients.
We recognize that this is a time of increased vulnerability, and have made plans to maintain regular hours--Monday to Friday 9am-4:30pm--and adapt our services to meet the community’s needs.
Outreach Workers will support the community using FaceTime, Zoom, text messaging, social media and phone calls.
Jasper COVID-19 Mutual Aid on Facebook
Community Outreach Services has created a Facebook group to coordinate community support for residents who are isolated during the Covid-19 outbreak.
The goal is to support each other by running errands, spreading accurate information and providing community/emotional support.
The group provides a place for community members who are in need of assistance to reach out and connect with people are able to lend a hand.
Remember to follow best practices when helping your neighbours:
- Wash your hands thoroughly before touching items that you’ll be dropping off at people’s homes
- Sanitize items before lending them out or giving them away
- Drop items off on a person’s doorstep without coming into contact with them (maintain a two metre distance).
To join the group, visit Jasper COVID-19 Mutual Aid.
