Is your housing situation unstable? Get counted!

Homelessness Count Poster Jasper (2) (002)

Be part of one of the largest coordinated rural projects to look at people’s housing ever completed in Alberta.

From September 17th to October 17th, 2018 visit the Jasper Community & Family Services office or one of our partner agencies to complete the Homelessness Estimation Count survey. Homelessness is often hidden in rural communities, making it difficult to assess needs and apply for funding to improve resources. In partnership with the Alberta Rural Development Network, Family and Community Support Services of Alberta and 20 other Alberta municipalities, we are conducting brief and anonymous surveys to help gather data. The survey was created to help communities gain a clearer picture of the number of people living in unstable housing situations, what their demographic is, and what resources are required to meet the unique challenges faced by this population. The questions on the survey are multiple choice and the survey should take 6-10 minutes to complete. The survey can be completed digitally or on paper. Visit one of the following Community Partners and let them know that you want to take the Homelessness Estimation Survey. One of our survey administrators will be happy to assist you.
