Early Childhood

Indoor Playgroup
Contact: Community Outreach Office at 780-852-2100.

Indoor Playgroup is gear towards children aged 0-6 years old. It is a weekly casual, drop-in program where kids can practice their gross motor skills and families can connect with other families in the community.

Baby & Me
Contact: Community Outreach Office at 780-852-2100.

Baby & Me is a weekly drop-in program for parents and their babies (0-18 months). It often hosts baby sign language and infant massage classes and is a great way to build connection and share experiences with other new parents in the community.

Elementary School Age Children

KAOS: Kids Adventures of the Summer/School-Year
Contact: Community Outreach Office at 780-852-2100.

KAOS provides safe and fun activities for kids age 10-12 throughout summer and non-school days. KAOS activities are free or low cost. Some activities KAOS has done are: 

  • Pumpkin carving 
  • Rock climbing 
  • Arts and crafts

Waivers & Permission Forms:

In person programs require parents to sign a waiver and acknowledgement of risk, and complete the COVID-19 screening tool:

Youth and Teens

Rec Room
Contact: Community Outreach Office at 780-852-2100.

A weekly hangout for teens, Rec Room provides a safe, fun space for local youth to socialize with their peers. Some activities Rec Room has done are:

  • Game nights
  • Choose your own adventure interactive movies
  • Crafts

Teen Adventure Seekers
Contact: Community Outreach Office at 780-852-2100

A monthly excursion, Teen Adventure Seekers provides opportunities for local youth to get out and do something active. Some examples of activities are:

  • Paddleboarding
  • Rockclimbing
  • Horseback riding
